DO NOT DISCONNECT ORDER EXTENDED UNTIL MAY 26, 2020.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Governor Reeves issued a State of Emergency for the State of Mississippi. Under this emergency order the Mississippi Public Service Commission issued a Do Not Disconnect Order to all utility companies in the State. This order was due to expire on May 15, 2020; however, the Governor has extended this order until Tuesday, May 26, 2020. This order will expire on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 and will not be extended. Therefore, if your water, sewer, gas and garbage account is past due and delinquent, then your utilities will be subject to termination starting Wednesday, May 27, 2020. This 11-day extension was given so customers can contact their utility department to bring their account current.
Therefore, if you are a resident of the City of Senatobia and your account is past due or delinquent on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 and you have not contacted the city utility office at 662-562-5251 your account will be disconnected.
The main office of Senatobia City Hall is currently closed to the public; however, we are inside the building located at 133 N. Front Street. If you have business that can not wait a week or so, please call us at (662) 562-4474 and we will try to accommodate you.

BUILDING PERMITS can be filled out online and emailed back to us for us to figure the cost. If you have any questions about filling out your permit, please call (662) 562-4474. If you would like to pay online, you can call city hall at (662) 562-4474 and we will take your credit card info over the phone.

At this time, all city departments are fully staffed and the city is operating under its normal business hours. Our primary focus is to maintain a safe workplace and encourage and adopt practices to protect the health of all employees, customers, visitors and others. We want to ensure the continuity of business operations while minimizing the threat of COVID-19 spreading in our community.
The majority of the walk-in service is customers wanting to pay their utility bills, court fines and building permits. There are many ways to pay these bills without visiting City Hall or the police department including dropping off a payment in the night depository on the south side of City Hall next to the Police Department and on our website at www.cityofsenatobia.com.
There are also several ways to apply for a privilege license and building permit. You can apply on our website at www.cityofsenatobia.com. Residents or contractors with questions should call (662) 562-4474.
